The firm

Most administrative problems are not people problems. They are design problems — unclear ownership, duplicated steps and documents nobody can find.

Since 2011, Cresford Advisory has worked behind the scenes of more than 340 organizations. We are independent, partner-led and deliberately small: the people who assess your administration are the people who fix it.

We do not sell software, and we do not leave behind thick reports. We leave behind processes that work on an ordinary Tuesday.

Services

Six ways we bring order to the back office.

Each service can stand alone or form part of a larger engagement.

  1. Executive office with a desk and two armchairs

    01

    Administrative Operations Review

    3–4 weeks

  2. Meeting room with an oval table and leather chairs

    02

    Process & Workflow Design

We redesign recurring administrative processes, from invoice approval to employee onboarding, with clear ownership, fewer steps and documented standards.

    4–8 weeks

  3. Hand signing a document on a wooden desk

    03

    Policies, Governance & Compliance

Internal policies, approval matrices and compliance calendars that keep deadlines visible and responsibilities unambiguous.

    4–6 weeks

  4. Shelf of archived paper files

    04

    Records & Document Management

Filing structures, retention schedules and digital archives that make any document retrievable in minutes rather than hours.

    6–10 weeks

  5. Conference room with a long table and a city view

    05

    Vendor & Procurement Administration

Supplier records, contract registers and purchasing routines that stop leakage and make renewals predictable.

    4–6 weeks

  6. Private office with a wooden desk and an orchid

    06

    Interim Administrative Management

An experienced Cresford manager leads your administration on site or remotely — through a transition, a vacancy or a period of rapid growth.

    3–12 months

Approach

From first conversation to lasting routine.

  1. I

    Assess

    Weeks 1–2

Interviews, process walk-throughs and a review of your documents and systems. We map how work really flows.

  2. II

    Design

    Weeks 3–5

Target processes, responsibilities and standards — agreed with your team, not imposed on it.

  3. III

    Implement

    Weeks 6–10

We introduce the changes step by step, train the people involved and adjust whatever does not work in practice.

  4. IV

    Sustain

    Ongoing

Handbooks, checklists and a 90-day review make sure the improvements outlast our engagement.

  5. Next step

    Start with a 45-minute conversation.

FAQ

Questions we hear often.

What does administrative management consulting include?

Everything that keeps an organization running behind the scenes: processes and approvals, records and documents, policies, vendor administration and the people who carry out this work. We assess it, redesign it and help your team run it.

What size of organization do you work with?

Most of our clients have between 20 and 1,500 employees. Smaller teams usually start with an Advisory Sprint; larger organizations often combine retained advisory with interim management.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Both. Reviews and workshops can run entirely online; implementation and interim management usually combine on-site days with remote support.

How quickly can you start?

An initial conversation can usually be scheduled within the week, and most engagements begin within two weeks of signing.

Will we need new software?

Not necessarily. We first make the most of the tools you already have. Where new software genuinely helps, we recommend options independently — we do not earn commissions from vendors.
